We use a Discord bot to swap who hosts the farm. Someone types /swap [name] and the bot automatically updates the save and posts it in the saves channel. Everyone just runs Install.bat to grab it!
Install.bat before playing — it downloads and installs the save automaticallyGo.bat when done — uploads the save automaticallyDo these in order before playing!
e.g. /swap glen — the bot swaps the host and posts a new save zip in the saves channel automatically.
It automatically downloads the latest save from Discord, installs it, and restores your personal settings. No dragging files, no navigating folders!
A window will open saying it's waiting for the game. Leave it running in the background — it does everything automatically!
Co-op → Host → select catnobboptob farm → start. Invite everyone from the pause menu!
Go.bat detects the game closed, waits a few seconds, then automatically zips and uploads the save. The window closes on its own. No button press needed!
Your keybinds are saved automatically — but only after the first time you set them up!
First session: run Install.bat as usual and load into the game.
Go into Stardew settings and set your keybinds how you like.
From now on, Install.bat will automatically restore your keybinds every session!
If you don't want the Go.bat window sitting on your taskbar while you play, you can use a free tiny app called RBTray to send it to the system tray instead!
Download RBTray from sourceforge.net/projects/rbtray.
Create a folder somewhere easy like C:\Program Files\RBTray and put both RBTray64.exe (or RBTray.exe if you're on 32-bit) and the .dll file in there.
Press Win + R, type shell:startup, press Enter. Right-click RBTray64.exe → Create Shortcut, then move that shortcut into the startup folder.
Once RBTray is running, just right-click the minimize button on any window to send it to the system tray instead of the taskbar!
